Three things for two days:

1. I am utterly delighted by what must be a coincidence: the season finale of Leverage is on Ash Wednesday.

Okay, sitting on the couch with my stellaluna- again. :-)

I was obstinately resentful at the snow for much of the day, but then it melted quite nicely and we were able to venture down to Decatur for sushi... yummy sushi. With much wasabi. And goodness.

• What computer based calendar / planner do you use? The iCal app on the Mac kind of annoys me. Google Calendar has the serious bonus of being accessable online, but I'd like to set the length of a happening without either editing the entry or having to play stretchy. Plus, the lack of color-coding within one calendar pisses me off.

My power was off for nearly forty-eight hours because of some terrific windiness that started in the wee hours of Monday morning.

Fifty mile-per-hour gusts took down branches and trees and the occasional power pole. In a nearby yard, one that I pass on my way to work, a big oak uprooted and missed flattening the house by about a foot and a half ( Read more... )
